Eric Pearson, President and Chief Executive Officer
Eric Pearson brings 18 years of experience in casino operations, marketing, hospitality management and development to his position as president and chief executive officer of Valley Forge Casino Resort.
Born to casino employee parents, Pearson began his career in the gaming industry at the age of 16 as a bus boy in the steakhouse of a Laughlin, Nevada resort casino. After holding several positions in food & beverage, valet and slots, he advanced quickly through to ranks to leadership roles focusing primarily on gaming operations and marketing. Throughout his career he has provided leadership expertise at several major resort casinos throughout the country, mostly recently with Foxwoods Resort Casino in Mashantucket, Connecticut where he led gaming operations, strategic marketing, amusements and attractions and iGaming operations and development for the largest resort casino in North America. Pearson also held senior leadership roles at Northern Quest Resort and Casino in Spokane, Washington, at several Las Vegas strip properties with MGM Resorts International, and with the three Gila River Casino properties in the Phoenix, Arizona metropolitan area.

David Zerfing, Chief Financial Officer
From managing complex capital projects to systems and process improvements, David Zerfing brings a wealth of strategic and operational finance expertise to Valley Forge Casino Resort.
A senior financial executive with more than two decades of experience in finance, operations, sales and marketing in the Gaming/Hospitality Industry, Zerfing has an extensive track record of driving profitability and operational efficiencies, along with creating and implementing control procedures throughout a business.
He served as the chief financial officer of ARAMARK Harrison Lodging and ARAMARK Parks and Destinations, and held financial leadership roles in the gaming industry with New Frontier, Barrick Gaming Corporation and Caesar’s Entertainment
“It’s exciting to be able to work with Valley Forge Casino Resort’s committed ownership group and its creative executive team to help shape operational decisions and drive the organization’s strategic direction,” Zerfing said. Zerfing is a Certified Public Accountant and has a BA in Accounting.
Jennifer Galle, Chief Marketing Officer
Chief Marketing Officer Jennifer Galle spent nearly 10 years developing innovative programs in some of the most competitive gaming markets in the country before joining Valley Forge Casino Resort in September 2014.
As Chief Marketing Officer, Galle designs and executes strategies for the resort focusing on loyalty marketing, player development, acquisition programs, public relations, branding and advertising. Galle initiates and directs campaigns to provide innovative and unique experiences for visitors through dining, entertainment and strategic partnerships.
Through these initiatives and programs – from partnering with the Philadelphia Flyers, re-launching the Valley Forge Music Fair to introducing Valley Beach Poolside Club and instituting a one-of-a-kind “Double Down Happy Hour” in the casino – Galle ensures that Valley Forge Casino Resort offers an unparalleled guest experience.

Bill Mikus, Vice President of Human Resources
Mikus, graduate of Susquehanna University with a degree in Business and American University with a Master’s in Organizational Development, previously served as a multi-property human resources executive for Atlantic City casinos. In that role, he was responsible for driving business and cultural change, talent management, guest service accountability, and employee engagement.
Mikus, who joined Valley Forge Casino Resort in 2011, believes that the staff is a primary reason for why it has become such an entertainment destination in the Philadelphia region.
“Our staff—from the table game dealers to the staff who operate our convention space—want to give every customer the best possible experience,” Mikus said. “We’ve got such an engaged group of devoted employees, it really compliments all that our facility offers.”
Mikus engages the employees in a number of philanthropic events throughout the year, ranging from adopting needy families during the holidays to leading a groundbreaking partnership with the Delaware Valley Chapter of the Alzheimer’s Association & Valley Forge Casino Resort in 2015.
Anthony Spagno, Vice President of Gaming Operations
Spagno joined the Valley Forge Team in August of 2011 and was instrumental in the initial design and development of the casino floor.
Along with his Team, Spagno is responsible for keeping the gaming floor fresh and exciting by providing guests with the most popular, fun and exciting games in the market for both Slots and Table Games.

Dan Hatch, Managing Director of Hotel Operations
With more than three decades of experience in the hospitality industry, Valley Forge Casino Resort Managing Director of Hotel Operations Dan Hatch brings a hands-on management style and a keen eye for detail to consistently deliver exceptional guest experiences.

Michael Gartner, Vice President of Information Technology
Michael Gartner joined the Valley Forge Casino Resort Executive Team in 2011, bringing with him more than 16 years of Information Technology expertise, with a focus on the hospitality industry.
As Vice President of Information Technology for Valley Forge Casino Resort, Gartner aligns the organization’s business needs to the technology roadmap. He is responsible for planning the information technology future for the casino resort, as well as for the implementation and maintenance of the organization’s current systems.
