CHEF LUKE PALLADINO TO OPEN HIS FIRST RESTAURANT ON THE MAIN LINE WITH LP STEAK AT VALLEY FORGE CASINO RESORT
King of Prussia, PA – Chef Luke Palladino announces that he will open LP Steak at Valley Forge Casino Resort (1160 First Avenue) this October. The upscale steakhouse will serve classic and unexpected cuts of prime beef, plus chops, veal and seafood. Appetizers and side dishes will feature modern twists on timeless favorites. The full service bar will shine the spotlight on local spirits and craft beers, while also pouring California and Italian wines, and seasonal and classic cocktails. The 4,400-square-foot space will seat up to 205 people in the main dining room, two private dining rooms, main bar and lounge area.
LP Steak will join Palladino’s on Passyunk, Luke Palladino Seasonal Italian Cooking and Luke Palladino Catering as part of Luke Palladino Hospitality Group. The new restaurant is part of an ongoing plan by Valley Forge Casino Resort to enhance and upgrade the property and expand amenities. Other recent improvements have included the relaunch of Valley Forge Music Fair and the recent opening of Valley Beach Poolside Club.
Work for LP Steak will start on September 1, 2015 in the current space occupied by Pacific Prime. Chef Palladino is also working on another to-be-announced concept that will open later in 2015 at Valley Forge Casino Resort.
“Valley Forge Casino Resort is excited to partner with Chef Palladino as we bring a world-class, chef-driven concept to the King of Prussia dining scene,” said Chief Marketing Officer Jennifer Galle.
While the partnership with Valley Forge Casino Resort is a breaking development, the story of LP Steak is one that actually goes back to 2013. Chef Palladino had the opportunity to test the LP Steak concept as a pop-up restaurant in Northfield to finish the lease when Luke Palladino Seasonal Italian Cooking moved to a larger space to Linwood.
“Over the years, my regulars have been asking me more and more for big steaks,” said Chef Palladino. “I’ve always wanted to have a restaurant concept where I could give them center stage in a non-Italian format. Valley Forge Casino Resort is the perfect place to do this on a larger scale. I am very impressed with every aspect of the property, the hard-working team and the surrounding community. I look forward to opening in the fall, as well as announcing other projects at the resort. Stay tuned.”
When the new LP Steak opens at Valley Forge Casino Resort, Chef will expand the LP Steak concept and bring it to a new, larger audience. Menu highlights will include:
* Classic and unexpected cuts of prime beef, bold and flavorful sauces
* Chops, veal, fish and seafood
* Hot and cold seafood towers
* Appetizers and side dishes featuring modern twists on timeless favorites
* Fresh daily-made pastries
At the bar, Chef Palladino’s team will develop a menu that features craft beers, wine, spirits and cocktails. Highlights will include:
* Focus on local distillers and craft brewers
* Wines from California and Italy
* 12 draft lines for beer, plus extensive bottle and can list
* Classic cocktails and martinis with a Palladino’s twist
The 4,400-square-foot restaurant and bar combined will accommodate up to 205 guests. The dining room and two private party rooms combined equal 2,900-square-foot, and will include seating at two-tops and banquets. The private rooms can seat from 12 to 24 guests for parties, and they can be combined into one larger private space for up to 48 people. The 1,500-square-foot full service bar area will seat 25 at the bar top itself and additional 30 seats on surrounding high-tops and lounge seats.
Gruber Design Associates (Amis, Alla Spina, Mercato, Vallani) has been retained to execute a rustic steakhouse feel with modern touches. The current design palate will be replaced with earth tones and bolder colors. The bar and dining room will be opened up and receive a full overhaul of lights and sound.
When it opens, LP Steak will join several existing fine dining, casual and grab-and-go options at Valley Forge Casino Resort. Other eateries and bars include Viviano, Valley Tavern, American Grill, Asian Noodle, Nosh Deli, Italian Market, Center Bar, Deuces Wild, and the newly opened Valley Beach Poolside Club.
