Irish Festival, Comedy Show, Valentine’s Day Specials This Weekend at Valley Forge Casino Resort

King of Prussia, PA (February 12, 2015) -‐ It’s a long Presidents Weekend for many and Valley Forge Casino Resort (VFCR), located at 1160 First Avenue in King of Prussia, is making the most of it. Here is a look at what the regions only full-‐amenity casino resortis offering:
Greater Philadelphia Scottish-‐Irish Festival
The Valley Forge Casino Resort will host the Greater Philadelphia Scottish-‐Irish Festival all weekend in the resort’s newly-‐renovated convention center. The festival will extend throughout the resort with musical performances in the casino food court from Oliver McElhone, Frank Reed and Charles Kadyk and The Belfast Connection. There will be plenty of Irish music throughout the weekend, as well as Scottish/Irish dancing and fencing and exhibits. Sponsors include Guinness, Harp, Smithwick’s, Blue Moon, Smirnoff and Coors Light.
The festival begins on Friday night 6:30 p.m. and runs from Saturday from 9 a.m. – midnight and Sunday from 9:30 a.m. – 8 p.m. The cost is $67 per person for all three days, $18 for Friday, $30 for Saturday and $25 on Sunday. ‘Second Friday Comedy Series’ Featuring Kyle Grooms and the Reverend Bob Levy
“Second Friday Comedy Series” presents Kyle Grooms and the Reverend Bob Levy for two shows on Friday night – 8 p.m. and 10 p.m. Levy, of the Opie & Anthony and Artie Lang show on SiriusXM Radio and Grooms, of his Comedy Central Presents Half Hour Special, Chappelle Show and NBC’s Last Comic Standing will perform at the event hosted by Nicky Paris of the Wendy Williams Show.

Karaoke Fridays with Cisco Kid
Also on Friday night, Valley Tavern (located off of the Radisson Lobby) will hold Karaoke Fridays with Cisco Kid. From 9 p.m. to 1 a.m., Cisco Kid will hold karaoke in the tavern, which includes more than 50 different beers and food specials daily.
Split Decision at Deuces Wild Buckin’ Bull Saloon
Split Decision, one of the hottest bands in the Philadelphia area, will perform at Deuces Wild on Friday night. $10 at the door gets $3 beers and $3 jack Daniels all night long.
Valentine’s Day at Valley Forge Casino Resort Tony Clark’s Signature Restaurants
Acclaimed chef and restauranteur Tony Clark is hosting Valentine’s Day at his two signature restaurants, Pacific Prime and Viviano. Guests will enjoy at avocado and shrimp mousse amuse-‐bouche with American caviar, a choice of shrimp cocktail or beet root Carpaccio as an appetizer, entree choices of pan-‐seared sea bass with sweet garlic sauce, a 10 oz. filet mignon with a red wine reduction or langoustine ravioli with lemongrass foam. Valentine’s Day Party at Deuces Wild Buckin’ Saloon
Looking for a more rowdy Valentine’s Day? Deuces Wild Buckin’ Bull Saloon is offering a $40 open bar from 9 p.m. – midnight on Valentine’s Day.
Guests can purchase an overnight stay at the resort complete with champagne, dinner for two in Pacific Prime or Viviano, and breakfast for two the next morning at Nosh Deli. Standard rooms begin at $299, fantasy suites start at $459.
Pocket Full of Presidents at Valley Forge Casino
From 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 15, Passport members will have a chance to fill their pockets with cash. Each hour, one lucky guest will win $1,000 cash and at 9 p.m. a winner will be selected to win $25,000.
