VALLEY FORGE CASINO RESORT INVESTS $6 MILLION TO COMPLETELY RENOVATE CASINO TOWER HOTEL

New design delivers urban elegance and natural glamour

KING OF PRUSSIA, PA (December 21, 2016) – Valley Forge Casino Resort has launched an extensive $6 million renovation of its entire Casino Tower, giving a luxurious lift to its hotel rooms and lobby space with tactile materials such as walnut and marble, and tasteful metallic finishes for an earthy, yet elegant vibe. The revitalization is the Tower’s first complete makeover in more than a decade.

Valley Forge Casino Resort has made significant investments in the property in recent years to renovate and upgrade the Event Center, convert dining space into an upscale steak house, and expand its entertainment offerings including reviving the Valley Forge Music Fair and creating Valley Beach Poolside Club.  Officials made the strategic decision to completely renovate the Casino Tower to enhance guests’ overnight experience, further drive the casino resort’s consistent growth and position the property to a broader audience.

“This renovation of the Casino Tower with upgraded rooms, added amenities and greater versatility will enable Valley Forge Casino Resort to better market the property as a full-amenity gaming resort destination to a wide variety of guests,” said Jennifer Galle, the casino resort’s chief marketing officer. “It also positions us to continue to deliver the highest levels of excellence our guests have come to expect from us.”

The reinvigorated Casino Tower will offer two Super Suites, 40 Suites and 116 Standard rooms.   All rooms are being refreshed with new carpeting, wall coverings, draperies upgraded bathrooms and custom artwork.  The rejuvenated rooms have an understated feel contrasted with a modern contemporary elegance.

The Super Suites offer:

  • Up to 1,400 square feet of space
  • 1 or 2 bedroom options
  • A master bath with glass shower, rain shower heads, double sinks, subway tiled walls and floors
  • A king-size bed with a walnut and leather padded headboard

Three of the tower’s six floors have been completed to date and are now available for booking.  The entire tower is on schedule to be completely renovated by the end of March 2017.

To reimagine and transform the Casino Tower to satisfy guests’ every hospitality and leisure need, Valley Forge Casino Resort engaged the StyerGroup, a Norristown-based design-build firm.  From the custom artwork to the dark neutral carpet with subliminal flair to the elegant, textured draperies, the result is an aesthetic that delivers a complete resort experience.

“With so much energy and excitement happening in and around the casino, the rooms themselves are a retreat from activity, making the guest feel comfortable in the environment, yet special,” said Amy Tahtabrounian, principal of the StyerGroup.

The Casino Tower’s rooms offer sweeping views of Valley Forge National Park’s 3,600 acres of rolling hills and trails, as well as a bird’s eye view of the entertainment and action at Valley Beach Poolside Club.

Seizing an opportunity to make changes during construction to better serve their guests, Valley Forge Casino Resort has also reclaimed underutilized space within the Casino Tower. Internal space in the tower’s core was previously used for storage has been converted to versatile amenity rooms. These rooms can be used as dressing rooms for bridal parties, hospitality space, green rooms for entertainers, or catering space.

“We’ve designed the Casino Tower with urban elegance to be an oasis from the casino,” Galle said. “With this new renovation, the hotel delivers the resort experience our guests deserve and further establishes us as a destination in Montgomery County.”
