Valley Forge Casino Resort Kicks Off October Comedy Series with Fundraiser Benefitting Upper Merion Football

KING OF PRUSSIA, Pa. (Sep. 9, 2014) ― Valley Forge Casino Resort today announced its October Comedy Series lineup, offering guests two double‐headliner shows with several of the East Coast’s top and will feature Roundboy Jimmy Graham and the outrageous juggler Kevin Lee. The Oct. 10 show will feature Comedy Central’s Teddy Smith and Sam Morril.

Graham and Lee will kick off the October Comedy Series with tons of laughter. Roundboy Jimmy Graham started his career as member of “The Murders’ Row,” a group of comics combined with members of the “Howard Stern Show,” and has appeared in Disney’s “Invincible.” For 18 years he has
appeared on a variety of television and radio shows including “The Ricky Lake Show,” “The Manhouse” on Comedy Central and “Opie and Anthony” on XM Radio.

Kevin Lee combines comedy, magic and juggling, leaving audiences in awe and in stitches. He has appeared on numerous TV shows such as “Showtime at the Apollo,” HBO’s “Def Comedy Jam,” and Jamie Foxx’s “Uptown Comedy Club.”

The show’s proceeds will support the Upper Merion football program.

The second show is set for Oct. 10, featuring Smith and Morril. Teddy Smith started his comedy career in Washington, D.C., where he quickly rose through the ranks and moved his way to the comedy capital, New York City. He has performed at the Tropicana in Atlantic City, appeared at the HBO Aspen Comedy Festival, and wrote for the “Keenan Ivory Wayans Show.” Currently he has a TV pilot titled “The  Super Man” in this year’s ITV Festival. Smith has appeared on Comedy Central, “Showtime at the Apollo,” and on Candor TV.

One of the fasted‐rising comics in New York City, Sam Morril has performed in a Friars Roast and was featured in a four‐page spread in the Daily News as “one of the four funniest in New York.” In 2011, Morril was named the “Comic to Watch” by Comedy Central and won the Laughing Skull Festival in

Atlanta the same year. He frequently appears on the NYC comedy stage at Carolines and the Comic Strip.

Both show times are 8 p.m. in the Waterford Ballroom. For the Oct. 3 benefit show, general admission tickets are $20 in advance and $25 at the door. For the Oct. 10 show, tickets are $30. Call 908‐296‐6278, email, or visit for more information
and reservations.
